Level 1
Beginning Improv
Our beginning Improv class is designed to teach basic improvisational skills through different exercises and games. Students can anticipate a safe environment where they can express ideas, receive feedback, and be treated with respect from other students and our instructors. You’ll be learning such topics as Yes, And, Space/Object Work, exposition, among other things. Improv is your chance to push yourself and see what you’re truly capable of. This class (and all our classes) are appropriate for all. No profanity or off-color content allowed. We push our students to be creative without being “dirty” or “blue”.
Level 2 & 3*
Character Development, Storytelling & Comedy
Bring your characters to life with unique personalities, quirks, and backstories that will captivate your audience! Learn to create engaging, dynamic, and unforgettable (and funny!) characters—from an outrageous neighbor to a low-status CEO or a fairytale princess who dreams of being a drill sergeant. No need for accents or awards, just a passion for the “pretend” world.
We’ll dive deep into comedic techniques, exploring scene “games,” patterns, and advanced tools like Set Up, Set Up, Twist and Big, Bigger, Biggest. Take your improv from a 2 to a 10 as you find your comedic voice, exaggerate truth, and elevate every scene.
*Level 2 & 3 are interchangeable and require L1 completion to enroll. Taught together or separate depending on amount of students.
Performance Prep Class
& Rising Stars Showcase
It’s showtime! Level 4 (by invite) is designed to transform your improv skills into a polished, stage-ready performance. You’ll focus on refining scene work, maintaining character consistency, and mastering the flow of a live show. Dive deep into advanced techniques for handling unexpected twists, sharpening comedic timing, and maximizing audience engagement. Learn the art of reading the room, making bold choices under pressure, and delivering punchlines with precision. With weekly performances (every Thursday), you’ll gain the confidence and stage presence needed to shine.
